My first ever exhibition in Utrecht, The Netherlands!

I'm very excited in these days, because I'm participating in a so called Magyar Kiállítás (Hungarian Exhibition) in Utrecht.
23 Hungarian artist will show their artwork to the world. Unfortunately I didn't have so many paintings "on stock" but still 11 works were selected from me to display.
They are mostly older works of mine, but I'm very happy that they liked what I did back then as well.
The opening ceremony will be on the 6th or April according to an article that became a hit between Hungarian and Dutch art-lovers all over the internet. This was written by Tom de Smet, and I can't be more grateful for him publishing about us in his online newspaper, the Hongarije Vandaag.
So Dear Tom! Thank you again, and again...! :-)

Here's the article, in Dutch language: http://www.hongarijevandaag.nl/portal2/cultuur-en-samenleving-mainmenu-203/4414-kort-maar-krachtig-hongaarse-kunstroute-in-utrecht

I include some artworks that will be displayed on the show. These were made between 2002 to 2009.

Enjoy, love, share!!

Finally the opening ceremony is over, and although I couldn't be there in person I saw a video about the way they arranged the paintings, but I'm not sure if it is visible for everyone since it is on Facebook. But the link is here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10202702305011094&set=vb.1002946106&type=2&theater

And here are some pictures of the installing and final arrangment of the showroom. Enjoy!

The Crow and the Apple - or let's just say, when three people with good chemistry meets and cooperate, but has a lack of time

I'm not sure when did we have this project, but if I recall, it was around january in 2012.
Kálmán Gasztonyi studies in the University of Theater and Film Arts in Budapest, as a screenwriter and back then he had to work on a story that was either good for children and for adults.
He called me and my friend Andrea Vékony up, and asked us if we'd like to participate in this task and create our imaginations as illustrations of his story.

Kálmán's story was really remarkable and we enjoyed bringing it visually alive, even though we had about 2-3 days to finish with 30 pictures. We worked mostly digitally: they are digital collages and its modifications with some hand-drawn sketches.

I hope I'll have the chance to write a brief translation about the story itself, but until then, enjoy the pictures!

Another boardgame for a museum?! Yes!!

Last summer I was invited to help a very nice museum educator in the Museum of Fine Arts for a summer camp. I was excited and I found this two weeks very inspiring being with teenagers working with them, showing them new things about art. I also made the design of the board of a board game, that was about pirates and about the paintings in the Museum's Dutch Gallery section.
I made this in the summer of 2013, but I forgot to post it so far. It was not a professional game, it was made specially for the campers to play with it.
I was really happy seeing the kids playing with it, and it was a good feeling to hear they liked the design.
Here are some pictures of it, enjoy!

Here are some sneak-peek werkpictures of designing the board game:

When the boardgame gets into shape

On this Tuesday, the press finished printing the boardgame I designed, and I couldn't wait to take some pictures of it.
Since we didn't want to pay for the packing, we had to put together the hundreds of different quiz-cards and the play money for one hundred boxes. We will be finished by tomorrow.
So here they are!
Enjoy!

Counting the money :))

Posing with Ágnes, the writer of the boardgame, tired'n'proud!

King's Birthday in Netherlands in the Kindergarden

In the Tulipán Kindergarden this time it will be a big celebration about the King's Birthday of The Netherlands, and I made some poster designs for this occasion tonight.

I hope you'll like them!
